  1. Yes there are many types of vegitarians:

    Lacto Vegetarian = eats dairy

    Ova vegetarian = eats eggs

    Polo vegetarian = eats chicken

Vegans= no flesh of any kind nor eggs nor milk.

There is even a fish vegetarian that eats fish.

A vegan is the strictest of the bunch. No dairy, egs, fish, chicken or meat. They mostly substute meat with vairous types of bean, tofu, soy products and veggies.

    hope this helps!

  2. The main difference is that vegetarians don't eat dead animals (meat, slaughter by-products) and vegans don't eat anything of animal origin whatsoever, regardless of whether the animal died for it (meat, slaughter by-products, dairy foods, eggs, honey.)

Veganism is a lifestyle that extends beyond food, though.  We also do not wear animal fabrics or use consumer goods made with animal ingredients or animal testing.

(Just out of curiosity, when you typed in this question and it popped up with similar questions, did you not notice that this has been asked and answered over and over and over?  Like today alone?)

  3. Vegetarians eat no animal flesh, usually due to health concerns or limited understanding of animal welfare issues. Some even continue eating fish whilst calling themselves veg.

Vegans eat no animal flesh, or animal-derived foods, such as milk, whey, eggs, or gelatin, or anything that contains them. They don't wear wool, fur, or leather, and don't frequent zoos, rodeos, circuses, and other places where animals are held in captivity or forced to perform for profit. They also don't buy consumer products from companies that conduct animal toxicity tests.

  4. vegan only eats greens no dairy nothing that comes frm an animal

    vegerarian eats everything but meat

  5. Vegetarian - Eats no meat (Red meat, poultry or fish) but they can eat cheese, yogurt, icecream, eggs and other dairy products like milk.

Vegan - Eats no meat, dairy, eggs or anything that comes from an animal. They also don't wear any animals such as leather or fur.
