if ur talking dvd players only some dvds work in diff regions. region 2 is europe and dvd players would only play region 2 dvds.

its just stopping dvds that are release at diff times from being transported around da world. for eg desperate housewives came out in america first and was released here months after. those dvds cud not have been played on dvd players here.hope i didnt make it too confusing.....

In Windows you can only change region 4 times I think? See if you can buy region-free DVD's.

Okay, region 1 is US and region 2 is Canada, Europe and the Middle East apparently.
