The dumbest pet should be a fish, they can't love, they don't remember anything, no matter how much love, care or attention they'll still see you as a threat.

Wow. A lot of people still believe that fish are dummies. I never even had fish, but doesn't anyone remember the study done to prove that fish had long-term memory? Flash a light in the fish tank, then administer food. After a few feedings, the fish learn that the light means food. Goldfish can also be trained to swim through hoops, under bars, and in formation.

I'm pretty sure the myth that fish have a ten-second memory or a three-second memory was just created so people didn't feel so bad about keeping them in tiny bowls all day.

Theres no dumb pet.  All pets have a certain good effect on people.  And I myself love fish, I don't think there dumb at all.  But the dumbest pet I have to say is a neopet
