  1. An early intervention team is a group of specialist that offer services to consumers in a variety of places such as home, school, parks, hospitals, and their own specialized clinic.  They are licensed speech pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, music therapists and child development specialists. They do not intrude in your home, ask for urine, or ask a lot of questions related to other than your child's development. The are a part of the family support team, and not just for children with Autism.
