  1. That's got to be schloar's mate.

    1.e4

    2.Qf3

    3.BC4

    4.Qxf7#

    stoppable, but tough.

  2. probably the Scholars Mate if they dont know how to play and or are new to the game:

    1:e4

    2:Qf3 or Qh5 (either way)

    3:Bb5

    4:Qxf7# (# means Checkmate)

this is only to be used on amateurs who dont know the game a lot, but it can easily be blocked by moving:

    Knight f6

this will prevent your queen from attacking the f7 square.

There is also another mate that is only 3 moves called the Fool's Mate (I think) which is this:

    1:e4 g5

    2:(any other move) example- d4 f5

    3:Qh5#

This can only be done if your opponent moves g5 or f5 first and then the other one second. e4 has to be played to bring the queen out and the 2nd move doesnt matter. Hope this helped!!

  4. What you are looking for is the Scholar's mate:

    1e4 e5

    2 Qh5 Nc6

    3 Bc4 NF6

    4 Qxf7 mate.

If he is good he can stop that and make you look foolish.

I used to play a "fake" version  of that.

based on him hyperventilating when the queen came out:

    1e4 e5

    2 Qh5 Nf6

    3 Qxe5 check

That isn't great either, but maybe you can use it.

  5. Note: You can't FORCE a checkmate in 10 moves.

If they are any kind of a decent player, they can easily prevent it, and YOU will have a bad position.  A mate in less than 10 moves can only be accomplished if the other player has no idea what they are doing.

  6. i dont know how to win exactly, but to start you off move one of the pawns to allow the bishop to come out, the bishop is one of my favourite pieces, try the one that will take the queen depending on what colour square its on.

  7. Make sure you have control of D4 and E4.  You don't have to be on them, just make sure your knight and pawns have them covered.  If you keep the King blocked it's easy enough to move your queen out and get it in check first and then eventually check mate when you pull out your bishop.

It also depends on your opponent.  If they know how to play well they will know how to beat you in return.
