  1. get 20 0r 30 feet out...cut hard into the wake with ur legs bent...and jump when ur halfway over the wake...land on the edge of ur board and cut away

if u want big air get a tower

  2. you should start our on your heelside edge and learn to cut good  so then you will be good and comfortable when you come in for your wake jump. but cut on your heel edge nice and good and when you get to the trough or bottom of the wake push down and jump and then you should try to keep the handle close to your hips as possible and remember when you cut in heelside to be in a "seated" position. If you are serious about learning i suggest you buy a dvd like "The Book" i have it and it works great!

    Good Luck.

  3. cut in with a good progressive edge and stand tall as soon as you hit the peak of your wake...that will launch you into the air.if you dont stand tall your body is naturally going to try to use your legs to try to jump..and that doesnt get you air. good luck buddy. :)

  4. Hey,

Listen, what you do is cut into the wake. The harder you cut into the wake the more air you will get.

Shaun Murray said, for a heal side wake jump, you cut out away from the wake about twenty feet then begin what is called a progressive edge towards the wake. A progressive is when you start cutting and keep cutting harder and harder. In other words, you start cutting into the wake easily then you cut a little bit harder and harder until you're cutting as hard as you can. Keep cutting hard all the way up the wake.

One last thing, a lot of people jump with their legs at the top of the wake and end up not getting as much air as they could. That should get you some good air.

    Hope it works!

  5. Swing out wide, and come into the wake quickly with a strong edge.  When you start to pop, really lift into the jump, throw some of your body into it, because your momentum can help carry you up higher.  The problem could also be in your driver, have them increase the speed the go by about 2 mph if they can.  That'll give you a little more speed to pop.

When you're not out ridin, really work out your legs, especially your calves, cause they are gonna help you get some lift.

Good luck! Just  keep practicing, it'll pay off, I promise.
