The coolest place I have is 21 degrees and the recipe I am using says it my elderflower wine should be kept at 16 degrees for the second ferment. What should I do? Will it damage the wine being at 21 degrees?

  1. I place my carboy in a marine cooler with containers of ice. It gets my beer cold enough to lager. You should have no trouble lowering your must's temperature five degrees C.

  2. Google home beer & wine supplies on-line. They have special temp. control devices for the refigerator.

I am new to brewing but I would think that 5 degrees will have a small effect on the flavor of the wine but not hurt it. Good luck.
