  1. One day? 122 miles, up over three mountain passes reaching 11,140', 11,990' and 10,560' respectively.  It is a ride called the Triple Bypass, is held every July in Colorado, and is limited to 3500 riders.

    Do you dare?

  2. 11 miles

  3. 175 miles on a 2-day ride.

  4. 700 mi on a 10 day trip (Melborne to Sydney).

470 mi on a 4 day trip (Jasper, Alberta to Glacier National Park and Waterton.).

220 mi on a 2 day trip (annual bike club ride) multiple times

140 mi on a one day trip (Ottawa to Montreal)

But many people do longer trips. Our bike club runs a 200 mi one-day ride each summer ... and usually about 10-15 riders take part. And randonnee riders often do longer rides still. See the link for one typical 750 mi / 1200 km ride.

  5. 92 miles on Saturday then 92 miles on Sunday

  6. Just last saturday, I rode from Sydney to Newcastle - about 145Km in total.

A rather nice day out - great coastal scenery, cute seaside towns & plenty of fresh air.

  7. 112 miles in a day, 6752 miles in a year

  8. 60 miles at a good tempo. It wasn't as punishing as I thought it would be- my average cycles are only about 25 miles but the extra distance wasn't a problem and I could probably have gone a bit further if I'd pushed myself. I'm more of a sprinter than an endurance cyclist.
