But an Aprilia RS250 I think for production bikes. They took that out of production though in 2001. It does/did 135Mi/h. But even that bike was not really built for speed.

They still sell the Aprilia RS125 which does 95mi/h. The Cagiva Mito 125 ($6000 US) does 100 mi/h . Both can get closer to 110-120 with small changes.

250's were not made for speed. The RS250 is 140kg ~ 310lbs. The problem is that with those weights 250's are far too dangerous at speed. (Going around trucks on the highway.)

You can tune a 250 to go much faster.

The real race bikes can do 170mi/h. (KTM and Arilia's)
