Whats the fastest way to transfer pictures from my camera to a computer?

The fastest way is usually the USB cable that came with the camera, or a card reader.  I have found that the card reader takes significantly longer than the USB cable.

I believe you mean to say you have an XTi, not an XIT. Anyway, the quickest way to transfer them is to use a card reader... with the USB you have to do them one at a time... with a card reader you can select them all, copy, then paste.

Take the card out of your camera and use a USB 2.0 card reader .. if you have a notebook with an expresscard/54 slot, buy a card reader for it (about $40, but well worth it).  That slot screams.  It takes about 1/10th the time to move image files as using a standard card reader.
