Whats the fastest you have ever driven?

Not been a passanger in a car, an not on an airplane. Whats the fastest you have ever driven in a car? An how did it feel?

The fastest i have ever gone was 127mph, in my friends 02 Cobra. An he PLENTY of peddle left. By far the biggest addrenlan rush i have ever got. I was trying to hit 140 but i was scared i would run out of road. It was on a very straight and hardly ever used highway at about 3am. No other cars on the road at the time.

well i sped in one of my friend's cars. but i was doing it in streets, so i couldnt get the speed too high.

Not really sure.  Speedo only registered up to 125, and it sure was faster than that.  (Old Pontiac Muscle car).  It wasn't the rush you would think, mostly I was thinking about cops, or a tire blowing out.  Did it for about 30 miles before I thought it was a bad idea.

some where around 150, the 70 super bee speedometer went to 140 and I had the indicator a inch or so beyond that.

i was riding my bicycle & i hit 406.5 kmph.......................hahaha!!

just joking....i haven't yet tried to go further 110s.....on my bike

I was on Interstate 75 just outside of Atlanta Georgia after 9/11 occurred and i was in a 94 Ford Crown Victoria police interceptor travelling at speeds of 130 mph +/- enroute home. I was in New York the day before and actually took pics of the towers. Scariest moment of my life and did not fully know what was going on. Could only think of getting home down in South Georgia. You could actually feel the calm and absence of people along the interstate.

127 in a cobra, thats awfully slow, :P  i've had my galant doing about 140, but by far my fastest would have been on my old 2004 R1 with a chip and other performance goodies i tipped the speedo at about 206mph give or take, well thats how fast i was going the last time i looked down at it.

90 MPH. Oh rebellious, I know. I'm trying to stay alive though. Plus I already have two things going against me (1. I'm a teen driver 2. I'm a woman). Trying to go over 90 would just be crazy!

the fastest i have ever went was 135 and that was in a shelby GT500 .....that car can run ....the best time is when the sun is coming up and theres no one on the road ......just put your foot to the floor and run down the highway and dont stop that s the funest

120mph exactly in a 1984 Toyota Supra.  I noticed the tach read a perfect 2000rpm at 60mph and I thought, "those are nice, round numbers."  Then I got to wondering if there was a speed limiter on the cruise control, pressed ACCEL and held it.  At 4000rpm my math brain caught up with me and pointed out the obvious.

At 120 the Supra is a wonderful ride - slick, stable, surrounding by a rustling whoosh of air.  I rode like that for two minutes before my nerves got the better of me, coasted down to 57 and reset the cruise.  Less than a mile later, State Trooper by the side of the road with his radar out, giving me the hairy eyeball like maybe he got a distant glimmer on my ride.

105 in an '83 Accord, following another Accord at a distance of about 10 feet.  I was drafting my boss because he hadn't allowed me to tank up before leaving, I didn't know where we were going, and I was nearly out of gas.

110 in an '88 Escort GT.  Zippy.

95 in a '87 Toyota Truck.  The cabin vents suck open at 90 and make a sound like you're stuck in a flatulent giant's a**s.  Never again.  The truck sounded very unhappy.

Only the truck was mine.  All the others were vehicles from the used car lot where I worked.
