  1. Nine and one half hours at 120 MPH from Chicago to Denver on a BMW 1000. I wanted a Coors back before Coors was sold in Illinois.

    90 mph for two miles (got stopped by CHP)

    65 mph for 120 miles

  4. Calliae (Seaport, ferry from England) to Lyon, France (aprox 1000km, 600+- miles) in 6 hours.  New Kaw ZX10, in 1988.

    Thought I was gonna get sucked off the Busa so I slowed down.

    Now I only hit speeds like that when I go to track days. Way too stupid and Dangerous to do it on Public Roadways.

  11. I one had my '86 ninja 600r up to 140mph on I80 for about 5 miles ( one exit to another) back many years ago..., when I was young and dumb....

  12. 80-90 across the state of Missouri, Illinois, and most of Indiana. Pit stops (fuel for bike and body, and potty stops) approximately every 50 minutes. I made it in less than eight hours- including all those stops.

    If you want to do 604 miles in one day, you do some scooting.

    Two miles at 143 mph years ago when I thought I was immortal.
