One of our team members has it, and I was hoping to do some more research on it. She injurded it while she was diving for a ball. Thanks if you know!

  1. I've heard it called a bursa before.  My doctor described it as a collection of fluid - sometimes they will use a cortisone shot to reduce it.  I had one in my knee, but they couldn't use cortisone bc it's back for the tendon.  Good luck!

  2. "water on the knee"

  3. Sorry, I have no idea what you mean by a knee bubble...I have never heard that term.  Sorry!

  4. I don't know if it's just for a knee bubble but I believe the word you are looking for is hematoma. A friend of mine got one on his forehead while playing intermural softball in college.

Check out the link below to see if it sounds accurate.

  5. It can either be bursitis which is typically found in the elbow of tennis players, or it could be a condition called excuse the spelling Oshgood Slaughter a growth disorder that deals with the ligaments in the knee not growing fast enough to keep up with the joint.
