  1. no, they're not dangerous.

    The probelm is, they're mixed with a wild cat and people are afraid that if these cats get loose, they'll really harm the enviroment with the hunting they will do.

    They just want to be sure that this breed isn't over bred, dumped off, abandoned, and allowed to breed uncontrolled.


  2. No they're just half serval, a wild cat. The other poster is right. They want Savannahs controlled because they felt that it would threaten other species in Australia. They aren't dangerous. In fact, their temperament is not unlike that of a domestic cat. They do have some non-domestic behaviors such as spraying, but this is more common for the F1s and F2s. Those generations also may require different kinds of food such as raw meat at times, but they are not threatening to humans.
