Whats the highest speed you think you can reach on a 1997 Eclipse GSX?

On a 1997 eclipse GSX the maxium speed is about ~150. With modifications, whats the highest you think you can get it too?

I have a 1995 Mitsubishi eclipse gst. I've went 165 in my car but that's with an upgrade racing computer. My car wasn't topped out at 165 it just got scary. The possibilities are endless it's just how much guts you have to drive it. haha

I have an 01 gt and it doesnt have a speed limiter..it will go as fast as it mechanically can with modifications

it is hard to say, most car are limited to a specified speed, however with modifications the governor may have been removed or modified.

you could always find out the fun way and find a nice open highway!

however that is not usually the best idea however.

Mitsubishi uses a speed limiter to limit it to 145mph at that point it cuts off the fuel pump and requires you to stop the car and restart it after removing the key from the ignition.

The limiter is in the computer so you'd need to have it remapped or flashed to remove it.

Drive it over The Grand Canyon rim and you'd probably make 200mph+ before you landed...
