Whats the hot jobs and careers in Abu Dhabi?

Hi, I am thinking abou applying for any college so I intend to get some job in the future in the United Arab Emirates.

I am not sure what to study for graduation so Here I am to see your opinion. What coreers, professions is Hot now a days in Abu Dhabi or Dubai? How abou the salaries?

Having lived in Qatar for 2 years I can tell you that the growth area is health and safety in the oil and gas industries. Work for one of the big companies for a couple of years to make your name in the area and then set yourself up in business. The salaries will be very good indeed!

Jobs in Banking Sectors and Governmental Agencies are hot here right now. Like in the RTA, DEWA, etisalat, du and many other compaines including some private shipping compaines. If you are planning to join a good university here in dubai while you want to work, then I'd suggest you to go to University of Wollongong in Dubai or to American University in Dubai. My brother is in Dubai.  Basically its all tax free and very modern.

My guess is teach ESL unless you have some mucky muck degree in international finance.
