Whats the job title for a person that inspects your yard gardening on a new home?

i just bought a new house in alberta. they just did the lawn, shrubs and planted a tree. now they are telling me i need to contact a person to come inspect it to make sure it was done properly before they give me my deposit for letting them garden my yard. i forget the proper name for the job tittle the surveyor has so i dont know who to call :'( please help.

try a landscape contractor

A horticulturist or an agriculturist possibly. An arborist does trees. Check with your local cooperative extension for the area your new home is in.  Hope this helps.
