  1. congo tetra..

how many usernames are you going to make with the same picture?

  2. While it is less common than a Congo Tetra, Exodon paradoxus (Bucktooth Tetra) and Astyanax mexicanus (Blind Cave Tetra) are both considerably larger at nearly 5 inches.

EDIT: Blind Cave Tetras aren't all that rare-- they are readily available both online and in many privately owned fish stores.

  3. I think the OP means the largest Tetra readily available on the aquarium fish market. There is a variety of wild Tetra fish that are larger and some even fierce predators such as the "Wolf Fish". The Congo Tetra is the largest aquarium Tetra.

  4. I agree the bucktooth tetra is bigger than the congo tetra, although the congo tetra is a nicer looking fish with a rainbow colour, watch with the larger tetras though they like to nip fins and can do more damage than the smaller tetras :)

  5. I'm not really sure about your question, I'd assume biggourami is correct...

On a side note to Biggourami---there are only so many choices when choosing an avatar and I see repeated ones all the time, it's no big deal...

  6. ACTUALLY the biggest tetra would be the bucktooth tetra (exodon). It is 2" longer than the congo at a whopping 5"! haha.

    Hope that helps!
