Whats the legal age you can move out?

I'm 16 and I hate living with my mom. Is there anyway I can move out and live with my best friend?

You are not legal until 18 years of age.  If something happened to you someone could be liable.

i think at 16 you can, but you need your parents permission. but as soon as you turn 18 you can do what you want.

I guess you could legally move out when you're 18 just make shure that you can financially support not just yourself but your bestfriend as well (just in case he might get himself into trouble) and also make shure that you are an asset and not a liability when you live with him ( you could help him in cooking, cleaning ... all those crazy stuff).

I think it depends on the laws in your area. I would check them and then talk to your mom about it. And your best friend. You dont want to do something drastic and then not have a place to sleep. Good luck!

That would depend on which country you live in.

In the UK, you can legally move out, with your parents consent, at the age of 16.

Without their consent, you have to wait until you are 18.
