as long as you can handle drinking, i was 13 when they asked me if i wanted a drink, i got a nice margarita. we dont see alcohol as something bad, its part of the culture like eruopeans. anything with moderation is good.

The legal age to drink in a public place is 18 year old.  We have inspectors checking about the age of clients in restaurants, discos and bars.  Young looking clients have to have an ID.  If they find a younger guy drinking in those places then they will close the place for three days.  If they find again a young guy drinking in the same place, they will close it permanently.

When I was fourteen I went to a restaurant, and they offered me beer. Then, they gave us this alcoholic drink on the house. I really don't think they care about the age, but it should be like 18 or 21.

I don't think they have one.  I have seen 12 year old drinking Tecate in restaurants.
