Like the pay mainly and which one is easier to get a job for.

I have the course outlines and the curriculum.

ADN= 72 credits needed to finish.

LPN=56 credits needed to finish.

I also want to know what general ed classes have to be taken to even start looking into it.

  1. Each state is different, but you mainly need Anatomy and physiology, English, basic math, Psychology, basic computers, for each.  The ADN program may require a few more things.

    Depending on your area you will be able to find a job in either field.  however the RN makes more is will find a job in hospital, but the LPN's are now being utilized more in nursing homes b/c those patients are more stable.

    LPN is a good start for nursing but you will eventually want your RN because it opens more doors for your career.

    To become a RN or LPN you will have to take the NCLEX for either program after graduating from an accredited school.

    GOOD Luck!
