As most popular sites, you have Sydney Harbour (includng the bridge, the Opera House & Circular Quay/Rocks area, Uluru (Ayers Rock) in the Northern Territory and the Gold Coast in Queensland (home to most theme parks). You also have places like the Whitsundays which is the best place to view the Great Barrier Reef (also Queensland) and the wine country of the Barossa Valley (South Australia). The Hunter Valley in NSW is also a popular wine area.

In Victoria you have the beautiful city of Melbourne, plus the spectacular Great Ocean Road.

There are a few things.  The big attractions are Ayers Rock (or Uluru), Sydney Opera House, the Outback, Bondi Beach, and the Bridge as you mentioned.  After the death of the Crocodile Hunter, the Australian Zoo has also became popular.  However the biggest attraction of Australia has to be the Great Barrier Reef, the largest structure built by a living thing.  (Another one for me is Victoria Bitter Beer).
