Whats the max. time allowed to take someone to small claims (in Ontario)?

ok, long story short, i have an old roommate that owes me some money, and i had misplaced a letter she had signed, but recontly found it after moving, and i was curious to know how long i have .. or had to take her to small claims.

In this website it appears that the statute of limitations is 2 years.
