Whats the mean of kerberus?

I know that in the anime sakura card captor is a card guardian.And some says that is a dog with 3 heads on the underworld but....I wanna know what means take Kero or Kerberus as a name?

In Greek mythology Kerberus or Cerberus was a three headed dog in the underworld like you say. He belonged to Hades, god of the underworld. He guarded the entrance, letting spirits in but no one out.
