I know some tables may be smaller and the pace of the table may also come into play. This might drop into been snookered or playing a trick shot. Maybe try it yourself first before you answer. I have a rough idea but want to see what you guys come up with.

  1. 6

    7 ??

    11 ??

I have never seen a table with that many rails before Hee Hee

  2. Sounds like a trick question to me :P There are only six cushions on the table, so unless you can pop in onto the next table in the hall, you can never hit more than 6 rails ;)

  3. 5 rails, will do it every time, five rail kick, if not every time, 9 out of 10.

EDIT-He is talking about kicking a ball and making it, if it's not five, then you go for seven. Hard shot.

EDIT-How many rails, means, how many rails the Q hits a cushion as it goes around the table.

On first video shown, the seven rail kick, if you count the short rail it hits right before hitting the 8 ball in, it is 8 rails.

On second video, going around rack, the Q actually touches a rail, including the short rail 4 times..

Trickshottim.com, is with us, and maybe he can clarify. what it means when you say how many rails, can you hit and make a ball. I woulg love to see his answer!. please.

  4. At least 7 for me.

EDIT: I guess it would be counted as 8, but I don't really like doing that.  It's really a 7 rail kick with some help at the end.  Also, there's no ball made, but here's some 11 rail shots (second reference).  There's a couple where he would've pocketed a hanging ball.  At my luckiest, I've gone 9 rails and halfway towards the 10th.

  5. I've seen eleven!
