  1. Tavern on the Green, Central Park, "Gotham City." Did not 'scoff.' Simply, dined. Leisurely.

  2. They never live upto expectation.

  3. The Complete Angler by the River Thames at Marlow .....stinging prices. I fraternised with the rich and famous such as Michael Parkinson and Rolf Harris.

Did it live up to expectations...it lived up to mine but I did not live up to it's. I was asked to leave...wrong dress code. That was years ago and I guess today you could walk in with a sack over your head and no one would bat an eyelid.

  4. The Whitely Ridge Hotel in the New Forest (UK) the food and service were lovely, and we didn't feel uncomfortable being in a really really posh restaurant.

  5. The Clansmen at annerley here in aus, it was like a big old queenslander with rose gardens all over the place, then we went into the bar and had a few drinks waiting for our table (had to book ages in advance) , then had a beautiful meal, mine was shaslik cambell, (shish kebab) with a fluffy bed of rice, caulieflower in cheese sauce, fresh beans and pumpkin,

then the desert trolley came around but was to full to eat, but was the first time a had an orgasim (the drink) baileys irish cream and cointreau, yummmm, the boss shouted us so we had a great old time lol! :)

  6. Gauchos in London, near piccadilly circus.

Known for steaks, they bring you freshly cut steak to your table and explain all the different types, i.e they give you an understanding of what you are eating.

...they come on a board and there is blood dripping off the board.

The chairs are made from real cow skin, and chandaliers everywhere.

Expect to pay around £100+ for two people.
