  1. Check this website...i think it gives a good ballpark

  2. thats really good pay! i wanna be a web designer sounds like a good job

    p.s. i hate u

    . lool

  3. The Web Designer Salary by Years Experience chart puts the starting salary for a web designer at around $34,000. However, in just 1-4 years, web design salary increases, and in 5-9 years, median salary is almost $15,000 higher than the starting salary for a web designer.

You could find out what you'RE WORTH by see this link:

  4. My friends paid over £12,000 for a site and its not even properly maintained.  A friend was very kind and did mine for nothing and he maintains it for me.  Ring around local companies and get your prices that way.  There is money to be made in the up keep of the Web but the down side is you need to be available 24/7.

  5. You could "ern" a lot more if you went back to school and improved your English skills.

Web designing is a profession and as such you'd be salaried. If you have PHP/HTML/CSS/Javascript skills then maybe £25k a year. The same if you are a Graphic Design graduate. If you don't know cgi or have no further education then probably not quite so much.

  6. If you work from home, you can easily earn upto £50 per hour (if you are good) but getting clients is hard.

If you goto an agency, and work hard to produce good work, you can easily hit upwards of 35kper year at current rates

  7. Man, if you start your own Web Design compandy, get some good publicity you could earn £500 per week easily.

    Your best bet:

Make a website which includes a portfolio of all your projects. Then pay for some advertising on sites with a high "unique visitors per day".

You'll make the money back in no time.

  8. If you're going into it strictly for the money, you may be headed for disappointment.

What is your education and experience in the field? That should come first.
