  1. Don't do first impressions.

  2. to be honest and to be true to your principals and morals, to be a good person.



  3. To always treat a woman like lady until she stops treating you like a gentleman.

    To always think and be controlled by the big head with the brain and not chemistry, emotions and the smaller head down below.

    To always keep my word even if it means that I have to pay a bigger price, hurts or it is inconvenient.

    To always be honest in small things and the big things will automatically come naturally and look after themselves.

    To never give up no matter what.

    That people are more important than money or material things.

    To never cheat or betray a friend or a spouse.

    That most disagreements and anger arise from "misunderstandings" so make ever effort to understand and to communicate.

    Love is the most important thing in the world. Try to love every person unconditionally.

    That the three hardest things in the world are:

    1. To include the excluded.

    2. To return love for hatred.

    3. To admit that you might be wrong.

    But do it anyways.

  5. How to manage money effectively. My dad taught me the value of an education and a dollar. It certainly "pays" off today. I have excellent credit and just bought my own home.

  8. It's not exactly something they taught me by telling me, but all throughout my childhood and still going on now, I've learned three things:

    1 - Life has to get worse before it gets better.

    2 - If something doesn't kill you, it only makes you stronger.

    3 - Tolerance of others is very much rewarded.

    There are certainly some more, but they all kind of boil down to those three lessons.

  12. How to cook at a young age. It comes in handy now that I have 4 kidz at age 24. 2 bad mom didn't teach me to be abstinent. 1st pregnancy at 16. She did teach me to take responsibility for my actions, though.

To be honest and to treat others kindly....and to be kind to animals.  My mother used to tell me you never knew if God decided to put an angel on earth to be an animal to see how you would treat a helpless creature.  I always remembered that, and even today I cringe when I kill a fly or spider as I'm terrified of spiders and can't stand the thought of the germs that flies spread!

    1. I learned my 7 B's: Books Before Boys Because Boys Brings Babies....

    2. You will not meet your true friends until after high school

  25. How to be kind and giving, even though I think I was pretty much born with that personality. My mom told me to always be myself and not change who i am

  27. First answer, my parents say the same thing, but i think that love is love no matter who it's with :(

    The most important thing I've learned from them is that abortion is wrong cause why should you deny your child - a person - the right to live :)
