I was six years old, and my parents took me to a parade. in it they had a line of musclecars that were rolling down the sidewalk. there was a chevelle ss taht stoped 3 feet away from me, then in neutral the guy gunned the engine. that was the most incredible sound ive heard. ever.

There's this bird in Asia (I think). It's a species of Bird of Paradise. When it displays, it hangs upside down, frills out all its feathers, swings back and forth, and makes the most otherworldly sound you've ever heard in your life. It doesn't sound very bird-like at all -- more like the sound you'd imagine a flying saucer making as it lands in front of you and blows your mind.
