I'm sorry to say but it is

Caucasians.

Males.

Christianity.

It sucks doesn't it! You'd think after all the marches, protests and laws we'd end this madness of race. Its ridiculous. We all deserve equality.

For gender, just look at our presidency, we need a lady in office!

Christianity is overrated in my book to be honest. Religion is just a competition in my book. Every religion wants the most believers, and the religions with the biggest populations are "most important." If my parents didn't look after me like I was 15 still, id be atheist!

Blacks and Hispanics are the most privileged races because they get preferential treatment to colleges and jobs. Universities relax the standards for blacks and hispanics and let them in with much lower grades and test scores than whites. Likewise, if you are black or hispanic you can get a job that you weren't normally qualified for if the employer needs to meet a quota. My Aunt needs to meet a quota right now for her company and no blacks have applied. So the first black that applies will get the job no matter what, even with lower qualifications....because if she doesn't hire a black soon she won't receive the funding for her non-profit organization.

I am seriously considering marrying a black man or using a black sperm donor when I have children so my kid will get special privileges and get into Harvard with a 3.0.........He won't have to work as hard but will still get an ivy league education.

In general, it seems that privilege has more to do with wealth than it has to do with race, gender or religion.

Is a rich black atheist female less privileged than a poor white Christian male?

When looking at privilege, generalization seems to hurt, rather than help. There are always hidden factors. It is better to consider each person's circumstances in total.

White males in power are a different story.  They are not the overall population.  They are outside the circle exspecially if you are White, Protestant.

Interesting comments:

White?  The only "ethinic" group that seems to be born with the label of a racist but is also regarded as being intrinsically unable to be the victim of racism.

Male?  The gender that seems to have inferior rights in the moden world due to a needs to "redress the imbalance" of past centuries.  Just look to the laws, family courts and medical services that favor women over men.

Christian?  There are things said about christians in the popular media that would been regarded as the most bigoted prejudice if said about muslims, hindus, jews (with regards to their faith, I am well aware Jew is also race or ethic term) etc.

Much of the above is done in the name of political correctness, the travesty of modern society.

The day that everyone will regard their rights as the same as those of everyone else will be a glorious one.  Of course its never gonna happen.

When it gets down to it, Caucasian Christians have developed the societies we westerners live in today, so it s no surprise that people who are not of that demographic look at us as privileged.

However, in modern society I tend to see that women, other ethnic groups and non-Christians are protected by a raft of politically correct, social engineering stratagems and the Caucasian male Christian is now marginalised, even demonised.

There are many who will disagree with me, but I will admit I am a white Christian male, but I do not let this situation get to me.  

I prefer to ignore all this anti-male-white-Christian attitude, but I will make a claim that white Christian males created most western democracies, but are not entitled for special reatment, but are entitled not to be marginalised and derided either.  It is notable that people from all over the world want to be part of our Christian, Caucasian, male societies: and then seek to change them

I consider that much of the mess in or societies comes from influences, often driven by PC-culture, that try to change the societies developed from a heritage that too many of us now under-appreciate.

In the US:

- Before the europeans arrived, it used to be the native Americans, of course.

- Until recently, it was western European descendant of christian religion.

- But more recently, it is increasingly shifting to the more affluent and better educated populations migrating from Asia. They are becoming increasingly wealthy and successful, and tend to stick together like other dominant groups did before them.
