Whats the movie about the little girl?

who is sick in bed or something and draws a house in her school workbook that either comes to exist or she gets sucked in... its a british movie and i only remember fragments, but theres one scene where her dad has his face all scratched out because thats how she drew him. its older too, maybe from the 1980's.
