The drink that was being poured into Margarita glasses with salt around the rim. It looked really delicious. I think they said it was Mojitos, but do Mojitos look like that, and if it was how do you make them? I'm dying to taste them.

  1. Yep, I think Mojito is right.

    Cuban Mojito recipe

    1 teaspoon powdered sugar

Juice from 1 lime (2 ounces)

    4 mint leaves

    1 sprig of mint

Havana Club white Rum (2 ounces)

    2 ounces club soda

Place the mint leaves into a long mojito glass (often called a "collins" glass) and squeeze the juice from a cut lime over it.  You'll want about two ounces of lime juice, so it may not require all of the juice from a single lime.  Add the powdered sugar, then gently smash the mint into the lime juice and sugar with a muddler (a long wooden device, though you can also use the back of a fork or spoon if one isn't available).  Add ice (preferably crushed) then add the rum and stir, and top off with the club soda (you can also stir the club soda in as per your taste).  Garnish with a mint sprig.

Probably the version in the movie was a blender or frozen version, from the way it looked.

    Frozen Mojito

    INGREDIENTS

1 (6 ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate

8 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers rum

    1/2 cup fresh mint leaves

    1 tray ice cubes

    DIRECTIONS

Place the lime juice concentrate, rum, mint, and ice cubes into the container of a blender. Cover and pulse briefly to get started, then process until smooth. Pour into 4 cocktail glasses.

You can also buy mojito mix in a frozen can, I think you just add the rum to that.
