  1. They are calling it the A2 and it will carry 300 people

    .

It's all on paper. Last weekend on yahoo there was an article about an English company that has drawn up designs for a Mach 5 hypersonic transport. The article with pictures of showed a windowless, 300 seat, front Cunard, rear delta winged hypersonic aircraft which would be twice the length of an A380 and capable of using hydrogen fuel to travel from Brussels to Sydney Australia in 4 or 5 hours on a north Atlantic and polar route at mach 5. Supposedly the aircraft would be as efficient at subsonic speeds needed when crossing populated areas.

Again this is all on paper. Development costs would no doubt be astronomical and will likely never be heard about again.

  2. Well I've read the answers cuz i was intrigued SST in commercial aviation is really a no no for you have to sacrifice many things such as passenger load, design, aircraft structure and again passenger safety and comfort. Concorde  didn't even fared well the 747 is being converted to cargo freighter your service is too good to carry above 200 and with budget airlines killing the big carrier airlines who would go for this a thousand dollar ticket to ride?

  3. All I know is that the nose dosent need to droop down, there are cameras that the pilot looks at to land.

  4. There have been some concept aiplanes, but nobody is actually planning to develop one at this time.

  5. I forget what it's called, but I know it's a boeing. Look it up on wikipedia, or google boeing concept aircraft.
