The SSC Aero TT has a 3mph higher top speed than the Bugatti Veyron.

But the Bugatti Veyron accelerates faster and has AWD for better handling.

So I would consider the Bugatti to be the fastest. It would win in a race against the Aero TT.

SSC is a company called Shelby Super Cars. This has no relation to Carol Shelby or Ford. The SSC Sero TT uses a Corvette Z06 engine, but is reworked to give around 1000HP.

yeah its the SSC ultimate aero by shelby it has a top speed of 257 and 1,183 hp while the bugatti veyron is 252 with 1001. the 2009 porsche gt1 however is coming out and its rumored to be the fastest car in the world when its released

The last I heard, it was the Bugati Veyron. I can't remember the specs. But, its so fast it can only go max speed for about 12 seconds before the tires disintegrate. Check it out on Top Gears site.

As far as I know, right now the fastest STOCK car is called the Ultima GTR. It has around 730 HP and it has a 0-60 time of only 2.5 seconds and 0-100 time of around 5.6 seconds. I hope this helps you out for right now, but with all the latest technology its hard to tell how long this will last. I hope this helps :]
