Whats the name of this pastry?

Its in this like longs roll. In russian its called Boolkas mokom. Its has this little black dots in it it tatstes great my grandma gets it off britan and she says that its bad to eat alot because it has narcotics in it. What is it? I wanna read more about it. Plz say. Little black dots in sorta like a roll thing.

  2. Well in truth I've no idea what this is, but I'm willing to bet that the little black dots are poppy seeds. These are common in food from this part of the world and because your Grandma mentions narcotics, I feel she is referring to opium. (heroin and opium are made from poppy seeds...but no worries...the seeds are OK to eat as they are NOT a narcoticic.

  3. It's probably poppy seed bread. Poppy seeds are product of opium plants. That's probably what she's talking about. It won't hurt you to eat it. There will be no effects other than if you have a drug test you will show positive for opium. Poppy Seeds are delicious in lemon muffins as well as cake.
