I think I heard the guy that washes the plane windows call one of them Pedro and the other one Juan.But I'm not sure so don't quote me on that.

For air travel, they are "skycaps".  For train travel, they are the "redcaps".  Redcaps were around first, so skycaps just seemed to fall into place.  They used to wear red caps, but those are long gone.

"Porters" serve inside the train, much the same as a flight attendant or restaurant server, along with the porters in the sleeper cars and roomettes.
