  1. Pupusas(yum!)

  2. I believe either rice and beans, with chicken if you're wealthy enough to buy chicken.  With corn tortillas.

Or chicken with molé sauce.  You get the recipe by using google; can you do that, young lady?  Don't use Hershey's but get the bitter dark chocolate to make your molé sauce.

I wish you "Buena suerte!"  Good luck!

Y "Que aproveche!"  May you enjoy the food!

  3. Pupusas of course, and buy them don´t bother cooking a pupusa, it´s difficult to shape that circles of dough if you don´t have any experience.

  4. El Salvadors national dish is pupusas, that girl said nacatamales and thats not true nacatamales are from nicaragua and they are delicious and the best. they sell both in any central american restaurant try them

  9. PUPUSAS: National Dish from El Salvador

    4 c. masa harina

    2 tsp. salt

    2 tsp. baking powder

4 tbsp. shortening (not liquid oil)

    1 1/2 c. warm water (approximately)

    1/2 lb. shredded Muenster cheese

Combine dry ingredients, cut shortening into dry ingredients with pastry blender; add warm water a few drops at a time and work dough with hands until manageable. Knead dough 15-20 times then allow to stand for 10 minutes.

Form dough into balls the size of an egg; roll out one at a time until they are 6 inches in diameter. Add some of the cheese on top then put another layer of the tortilla. Place on a hot ungreased skillet (one at a time). Cook 2 minutes on each side until done. Serve with cabbage and shredded carrots on top.

  10. Pupusas, why don't you just buy one instead of cooking it.

  11. everyone knows its las "pupusas"

they would be made out of rice flour or corn flour, both are good depends on your own tastes, they are like tortillas stuffed with diferent types of fillings inside, very delicious, they can be filled with grated white salvadorean cheese or mozarella if u cant find salvadorean or any hard white cheese, with refried beans, with porkrines or a combination of all. they are usually acompanied by salsa(tomato and other spices and herbs) and or curtido which is finely choped cabbage, carrots, some vinegar and some pieces of beets for color and best of all u eat them with your hands, how special is that anyone can eat with a fork but inly u can eat from your hands huh... enjoy and good luck kool proyect... there are more national dishes but this one is the supreme one September is national pupusa month in el salvador

  12. pupusas but I have no idea how to make them (sorry)
