  1. Side effects of birth control weight gain , mood changes, Nashua, spotting or break through bleeding

  2. Doesn't matter if you use them to get less painful periods or as a contraceptive you'll still get the same side effects.

For me a week after taking them I got cramps in between periods and I get sick if I have too much vitamin C. Sounds ridiculous but it's true. I used to love my OJ. As soon as I take the pill I have a few minutes of nausea. My skin is pretty horrible. Luckily I didn't get the weight gain, or maybe I just exercised it off.

Other side effects are blood clots, so it's important that you do not smoke. It can also increase the risk of lung cancer and breast cancer. My doctor told me to start looking for lumps. Blood clots are very rare though, but if you feel a sharp pain in one leg or have eye problems stop taking the pill and see your doctor.

Once you get the pack just read all the information. It should list all of the side effects or your doctor will tell you. My doctor really made me think twice about taking the pill but he also said it was the best thing for me.

  3. Hello,

Well,l every pill is different, but I would advise against the pill. The pill has been proven to cause breast cancer in women when they reach their 40s. Now, if that doesn't stop or scare you, then it would be smart if you looked up breast cancer.

I took the pill (2x) for medical purposes and the side affects that I received from it:

        Breast developed milk.

Loss of hair (more than a fourth)

        Weight gain after

Heart pain (when I took the pill -2 minutes after)

Mood (Very emotional - Forgot to take the pill by an hour and cried and just lost it)

Some women also start having problems with other things. It all depends on your body and how it functions.

If you use them for periods, Id also advise against it, it tells your body that you are pregnant. There are ways to make the period less (bleeding) or for you to do things to make it better. Hope that helps. If you have any more questions, just send me a message.

  4. well for my first time using them, they didnt work. but after that, it works...

and at first it might make you gain a little weight (5lbs maybe) but its mainly just water weight so nothing to worry about.

for some people, vomitting might occur.

  5. If your period is horrible, heavy, and painful, and that's why you're using them, be careful.

I say that because I used them for that, and it turned out that the hormones in the B.C. pill were feeding my adenomyosis tumors. It got so bad, and I was in so much pain, that I could hardly walk.

Also, I had a horrendous, excruciating headache for two years straight. The doctor said that I was imagining it. After 2 years of suffering, she looked at her little PDA and the thing said that that could be a side effect of the pill. The next day I didn't take it and I didn't have a headache!

So, the thing is, why do you have heavy periods? If it's endometriosis or adenomyosis, the pill will make it worse.

    Do more research.

  6. "No long-term studies have been conducted on the impact that menstrual suppression may have on fertility. No long-term studies have been conducted on the ways in which menstrual suppression may affect the development (reproductive and otherwise) of young women. No long-term studies have been conducted on the effects of exposing women to hormones over a longer period of time than regular contraceptive pills, and in some methods, in (small, but significant) higher doses. Seasonale, for example, exposes women to nine more weeks of estrogen and progestin every year than a regular birth control regimen"
