Whats the new look of yahoo groups ive passed by? looks like a message board?

how do you get to them? is it your choice? or is it beta? i was brousing other yahoo groups & man, they look diffrent, & lotts of them & some are the classic ones, ok, who knows about this?

Beta groups are and have been in the testing phase. you can create one, but you cant yet transfer a current group to a Beta group. when they get finished with the test, they say all groups will convert. right now, Beta's are limited to their features however the homepages will have much more capability along with backgrounds
