  1. my friend had a greco or something

    and it was really nice

    hahaa

  2. Leopard Gecko

  3. I've heard that bearded dragons are extremely friendly.

Either way you have to think of them as a reptile a lot of them won't want to be handled and picked up all the time.

  4. i think leopard gecko would be a good choice. they like to be handle and are very calm an docile.i never see one try to bite and i have 18 of them.ideally you should only house one gecko per cage because they can be very stressed out with a companion. but if you absolutely want to have two of them in the same tank you should pick two female .because a male and a female together can stress each other and they can stop eating, and two males = fight.

here are some care info on leopard gecko:

good luck with your new friend!

  5. All lizards can bite, it depends on species as to how hard and what kind of damage can be done. Keep it one lizard to a tank, for 90% of species.

    blue tongue skinks

    blue spiny lizard

    spiny crevace lizard

    beared dragons

and I was lucky enough to have the tamest peach throated monitor you could possibly want.

  6. Bearded Dragons are the best I think. You can walk em on a leash and everything. I know someone who even trained thier bearded dragon to go to the bathroom in a litter box.

  7. a leopard gecko and two per cage or fightin starts

  8. I have owned many lizards, including bearded dragons and geckos. In my opinion, the tamest lizard out theree is the northern blue tongue skink. Mine will eat bananas out of your hand and my oldest one will sit in my wife's lap and fall asleep while she pets it. We have two of them, but they are solitary and should always be housed alone.

  9. Leopard geckos and bearded dragons fit that description nicely They are definitely the best 2 species of lizard for a beginner to start with because of there tolerance for human interaction and there easy to provide care requirements. As for the second part of your question : all reptiles should be kept individually. I only keep my animals in groups for breeding purposes. Reptiles are solitary animals and for the most part don't  like contact with others out side of the breeding season.  Make sure you buy a few good books on what ever species you decide to keep and good luck!

  10. Most lizards should not be housed together.  Sometimes 2 female leopard geckos can be in the same tank, but it should be a big tank with plenty of hides.  They are usually good about being handled and rarely bite.
