Ok my son has between 5-8 bowel movements a day. Its very frustrating because he has a terrible nappy rash from this. I do change his bottom as soon as he finishes his business. The doctors are not helpfull. But i really don't find this normal. He is not a big eater an the are really soft stools not hard at all.

  1. sounds kinda like diarrhea

  2. Make sure you get him some pedilite!! He will get dehydrated from going so much...Another thing Its not normal is he sick? How long has it been going on? If its been a couple days hes probably just has a stomach bug but if its been a while then there is something wrong. You should switch to a better DR ASAP to find out what is wrong..

  3. Could be a food sensitivity, i took care of a little boy that was allergic to citrus and if given anything with citrus in it he would have poopy diapers several times a day for about a week.  Milk allergy or sensitivity will do it too as will eating a lot of fruits.

  4. Find a new doctor who is willing to listen to your concerns. That many dirty diapers every day is not the norm.

  5. ah that sux um try giving him foods that will stop him up alittle like bananas toast and or formula and rice cereal.i dont have kids but i have 6 nieces and nephews and one has bad stomach problems but hes usually constipated and thats what he cant eat. but i think once a day is normal.but id have him checked out more.
