What's the number to call for the stimulus check? That I can possibly talk to a live person. My hr block person said that I will receive a check in the mail...my last digits are 81. the schedule said it will be sent the 4th/5th of july. I know it said to wait up to 2 weeks...but what also worried me was that I never got a letter from the irs saying I'll get one. I dont believe I was claimed on my parents because I don't live with them. I just need answers

  1. The last set were mailed on Friday:

    http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180...

You should receive a letter any day now saying how much your check will be for.

  2. Yea aint no tellin when you'll get your check, so don't bother listening to all these people on here trying to comfort you on when your going to get it. I was suppose to get mines June 13 it's now July 15, So we rockin in the same boat. It's some bullshit when you want yo money on time but the IRS would take your house, job, and all yo assetts if you owe them. Just forget about it until it comes to your door cause aint no tellin REAL TALK. (And yea I'm 2 pissed I could use dat now)

  3. Call 1-800-829-0582, extension 726.

  4. Enter your info at https://sa1.www4.irs.gov/irfof/IRServlet... - if it has no info for you, then yours hasn't been mailed out.

When did you file? If you efiled very close to 4/15, or mailed your return after mid-March, it's likely that you missed the cutoff for your return being processed by 4/15 so missed this first round - if so, you'll get your check in late July or in August.

  5. your best bet is to visit IRS website www.irs.go and use the Stimulus calculator, have a copy of your tax return to input some required information, once all information is enter it will give you give you your information such as if you qualify, and if  you qualify how much you will qualify for and when to expect the  rebate.

You can also check IRS website "where's my stimulus"

The only phone number provided for the Stimulus is 1-866-234-2942 calling any other number are not required to assist you since they were not trained on the stimulus.

    or try 1-800-829-1040

  6. On your computer go to IRS.GOV and follow the stimulus thread; plug in your SS# and other data reqested in the various blocks; it will tell you when and where and yada.  You had better ask your parents if they took your dependency; if so, you are SOL.  There may be another reason you have heard nothing so go to the site and look.  If you have moved or the address is wrong or any number of things will s***w it up.  Good luck.

  7. 1-866-234-2942
