rate of pay for any teacher varies from district to district, state to state, etc.. if you want to compare rates, go to each district office and ask around. i know this because i work for several school districts and each rate is different.

Teacher's don't get paid much. It's all about the passion for teaching.

In the state of New Jersey, first-year elementary school teachers in my county start at 30k. However, the benefits are great and summers/holidays off are ideal for working parents.

@ $10/hr to start....+ benefits and summers off...a high demand for males, but naturally will hire females in a heartbeat.

this business isn't about money ....
