  1. 74 dollars!!!!!!!!

Were they made from Kobe cow leather???

No MMA glove is worth 73$, even UFC gloves are only like 34.99. Dude I'm sorry but you got ripped off.

  3. You got some decent gloves - I assume they are leather and have a good wrist-wrap with strong Velcro type closure.  Ringside is a good company with a good reputation for solid gear.

The open palm will keep your hands cooler and less sweaty.  The thin padding will protect your hands, but let you deliver good punches.  The fact that they are "soft" is good quality leather that is sewn over a pad (like a thin boxing glove).  I assume they are about 4 oz gloves.  They will be better for pummeling/swimming in a clinch where thicker gloves will not let your hand fit. And you can get a good grip for grappling since the fingers are open.  All in all you made a good choice.

You probably did pay too much, but if you had them shipped, you'd have to pay $7 or $8 shipping anyway and you'd have to wait a few days.  If you got the wrong size it's a hassle to return them and re-ship - consider the convenience part of what you paid extra for.  Plus you are supporting a local shop, so that's good in my opinion.

  4. i found out these gloves on that site for $20 bucks cheaper, u my friend got totally riped off, try to return those gloves if u can and get the fairtez or the contenders safety one,

how is the glove when you punch? is the padding good, do ur hands or wrist hurt after, if u like them keep but if u dont try getting ur money back

good gloves need to have padding for practice so u can spar, or work the pads, or bag without hurting ur hands, http://www.ringside.com/detail.aspx?ID=2...

the gloves can look like shoot types, with a large pad one the knuckles or they could look like the ones u have right now, as long as u feel comfortable hitting with them, without bruising ur hands the gloves will do
