Whats the perfect amp for 2 12'' Kicker L7 Subs?

The last setup i did.. i used 2 bridged zx450.2 kicker amps and the end result was amazing.  The ohms will play a major role though so make sure you match those to your new amp.  If your L7s are 2 ohm dual voice coils then wiring them in series and hooking them up to the zx450.2 would be perfect as its made for 4 ohms when bridged.  (again 1 amp per speaker)

T25001bd by rockford, or strap 2 1000/1's together.  Or a couple eD nine.1's strapped, or any other or the few 1000watt mono amps out there for at least 800 bucks a pop.

usually i find the same brand of amp goes awsome with the same kindaa subs. but my opinion would be, get an MTX amp. , depending on how many watts as well.dont go cheep on your amp,its what defines good sound from bad!

two S12L74 = SX1250.1

two S12L72 = ZX1500.1

these are the two amps that Kicker recommends for the subs in their Sub-to-Amp Guide.

when considering the PERFECT amp remember that the power handling of the sub decreases in a ported enclosure so this will allow you to chose different amps depending on you application.

S12L7 = 750 watts RMS sealed

S12L7 = 600 watts RMS ported

so at the correct resistance a ZX1000.1 with a birth sheet near 1200 watts RMS @ 2ohm will be good or you could even find an older model KX1200.1 that will be good.

this amp is amazing. it's the best technology out there. it has the same technology as the X-tant amps. this means that it is even better than any JL amps. you can take another amp of the same size and make it 6000watts RMS@ 2ohms.
