  1. Well you have to learn the basics before all the *flips* like round off's cartweels, handstands, ect.  If you already know you'll be at an advantage.  So If your dedicated 14 is a good age, but everyone learns it differently.

  2. I started when i was 14 and by the time i turned 15 i was in level 8, soo yeah do it!

  3. Truthfully anytime is perfect i mean as long as you are healthy and wanna learn you can.......i also do gymnastics and i have seen girls as young as 6 just starting ...but i have also seen girls as old as 18 just starting gymnastics so really just anytime you feel is right......

  4. If you're a parent,

and you want your child to be REALLY good and compete and such, the best age to start is around 4 or 5.

this way, they are coordinated enough to control their body, and they aren't old enough to be scared to try new things.

Also, the younger they start, the more advanced they'll be.

But if you're just looking in to join yourself,

    sooner then later, for sure!!

  5. I was a gymnastics instructor for a few years, and I promise you it's possible to learn at any age at which you are healthy.  Yes, the younger the better, but if you can start taking classes now you'll be off the ground in no time.  The more often, the better... maybe sign up for a few hours a week if you can afford it, I promise the more frequently you have a coach around you the more you will be able to do.  It's been my experience that people around your age will get about to the point of a back hand-spring  within a few months but for some it takes a few years; this is when they only go to practice one hour a week.  If you want to be GOOD, you have to go, go, go!

  6. i hear the younger the better!

    hope i helped! :)

  7. The gymnasts are getting that young now you'd be best starting to practice in the womb.

  8. yes you shoul start at a young age so you can progress over the years you do it
