Whats the phone code for calling a cell phone in "Lo Barnechea Santiago Chile?"?

i have my friends 8 digit cell phone number but i still need some kind of dialing code. He told me i need a cell phone code along with a country code or someting. so yeah if anyone knows what it is or most likey a web site with that information.... i would appreciate oh so very much!!!!!

56 is the country code for Chile, and we use digit 9 for cell phone calling, so you&#039;ll need to preffix 569 before the 8 digits of your friend, that&#039;s it! It&#039;s the same everywhere in Chile, not just in Lo Barnechea, Santiago.

Lo Barrenechea is in Santiago.

However, cell phones are tricky in Chile, because you don&#039;t use area codes. What you need to dial is whatever you dial for an international call (in the US it would be 011) then 56 then 9 and then the number you have which, I assume, starts with a 9.

dial 56 for chile, then 9 and then the 8 digit number (it should start either with 7, 8 or 9). im chilean and this works for people in the us trying to reach me!
