is 411 the number to call if I want to find out the number of a companyor person in another state or somewhere else in the USA but Im not sure which state they are in? say for example I did not have access to a computer and I wanted to find out the phone number of some little store somewhere else in the country but im not sure which state they are in or If i wanted to find out the number of Compaq computers headquarters or customer service for example.

instead of calling 411 you can call 1800yellowpages   or go to smartpages.com   which are both free. if you call 411 and use the national directory assistance it will cost you a minimum of $1.99 per call
