Whats the point of having your pediatrician check your 'privates' for 1 second?

mine today just lifted my shirt for less then a second and then my shorts for less then a second...honestly what can u see in 1 second? like how do they know if something is wrong?

kind of a weird question but im curious

abnomalities. some doctors (ones with lost of expirience) just need a second to look.

Probably just to be minimally invasive but to check for physical abnormalities. In other words, your doctor didn't want to make you really uncomfortable, but wanted to just check that there weren't any noticeable problems.

Your pediatrician?  How old are you anyway?  You have to be at least 13 to post here, and by that age you should be done with pediatricians.
