Whats the point of life

I'm not depressed or anything, i was just wondering

We live - and die. and We just end up Unhappy.

Whats the point.

well maybe since it is gods gift to us we should try to live happy

well you really dont end up unhappy per say.least ways i hope not.nobody knows for sure.but you may go through life un happy or you may do something about this unhappyness.pick up a pencil and try ballancing it on your nose.no but really try to write out what would make you happy within reason and then try to gain that goal

i think its just the end result of the earth forming which just so happened to develop life. I dont really think theres a point just a mishap that im guessing we have to deal with. hopefully that makes sense. lol.. ok maybe a mishap isnt the best word but just something that happened.

Learn from your animal friends- don't think about it.  Try to improve your life and make it easier but meaning will be different in every phase of your life.

No it doesn't end with being unhappy because it doesn't end in anything because technically we all live forever.  We just transfer to a different plain of existence once in awhile, forgetting the previous we've been in.  The point of life is so you can exist so the universe can be observed because it cannot exist if it wasn't. So we are the alpha and the omega.

I always ask myself this question too, i was just wondering too.

Its complicated really. And it brings me to a bigger question...whats the point of the universe? everything lives then dies...and sooner or later the universe will collapse and everything is for nothing! lol it seems like there's no point in anything. I think its one of the biggest questions in existence. And i dint know if it will ever be answered. So, i don't exactly know what to say.  Just, have a happy life and enjoy the good feelings it gives you.

I'm reading this killer book by Scott Peck called "The Road Less Traveled" that talks about how life becomes truly meaningful through "love."  Love is defined as the drive behind spiritual growth for oneself and for others.  One is truly fulfilled and free from fear when one if filled with unconditional love for himself and for others, no matter what.  I have learned that when I am of maximum service to God and to others that I am at peace and full of serenity.  It works for me brother.

I ponder the same thing sometimes. Usually when I'm smoking pot. I think you just need to figure out what makes you happy. Because for the unhappy point I'm just not getting. I can't really ask for much more in life but maybe some more money. I guess I could ask for world peace but in my lil' world it's pretty good. I answer would be you need to fall in love and you ponder it anymore.

The purpose of human life is to give glory to God by honoring His commandments, summed up by loving oneanother.

I would think this absurd and untrue, but when one considers a way to stop all the evil that occurs in the world, if everyone loved oneanother, people would not always be doing rotten things to eachother.

A bit idealized and whimsically theological, but in my opinion, true.
